Hi all. I am going for a camping trip to CA in a couple of months. I have a nice backpack for my day trips, but need a carry-on size wheeled luggage for my clothes and other gear. Can you guys suggest something?

Check out The North Face (http://www.thenorthface.com/catalog/index.html) and Osprey (http://www.ospreypacks.com/). They should have lots of options in carry-on wheeled luggage for outdoors. You could also look at Briggs & Riley’s newest BRX collection (http://www.briggs-riley.com/category/group.aspx?col=BRX) for adventure travelers. They have some interesting styles in carry-on size.
Thanks for the suggestions, John. I am checking out all the three options, but I’m pretty impressed with Briggs & Riley’s BRX collection. Will probably go with one of their carry-on size bags!
Theresa,
You might also check out LL Bean… (gotta love their life time guarantee!!!)… they have excellent ballistic luggage, I have the "wide-mouth" set for traditional travel. Great duffles and carry on sized luggage, excellent construction and (model) customer service… http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/50
Good luck with your trip!
Cheers, James.
EDIT: spelling
REI's house-brand luggage is highly thought of and reasonably priced for the quality. The spring sale lasts through the end of the month.
EDIT: Personally I think that wheels and a collapsing handle add too much weight and take up too much space for a carryon, but HYOH (or flight)
