Thom, a photo would be grand.
To get back to the CCF pads, I find the TAR Z Lite the most comfortable mat ever. I take naps on it at home, and for the trail I carry six segments (174 g) which go under the torso. Excellent mat.
Here is a picture of the custom "torsolite" size pad that I had Bender make for me.
