Andy, you're selling those Module bags and I have a some questions about them.
The specs say that they have only 4 oz of down in them, plus a little synthetic insulation in the leg area, yet the listed weight for the bag is an even pound. With the bag having no zipper, a lightweight shell, and no bottom insulation, other than the synthetic stuff, I'm wondering how it is so heavy? Comparable bags, with 800 fill down, like the marmot Atom, have over twice as much down and weigh the same amount. Same with western mountaineering bags.

Can you explain this to me? And I'd really like to know what the measured loft is for the Module. It looks like a neat bag.

Thanks!

Our specs were a little off. Rab is not providing the Fill-weight but I have requested it. Their overall weight is 470g / (16.6oz). If they provide fill weight, I will post it.

thanks.

RAB Module 100 fill weight is 100 g or 4 oz. I'd be surprised if the loft was even 0.5". The rating would be maybe 45 or 50 degree F. Not that good for the weight.

Compare that to the old RAB Quantum Top Bag at 200 g (7 oz.) fill weight, rated to 32 F but probably a 40 F bag.

That's the kind of information I was looking for. A pity it doesn't have twice the down in it.
