Really, can't go wrong with this piece of gear in the pacific northwest. Best camp jacket ever.

Are these jackets sized similar to the down inner jacket, or a little bigger?

The Alpine is quite a bit bigger then the inner. Alpine Light is somewhere in between. I have all 3 and I can't compare them with Western Mountaineering or others, but the Alpine is superwarm, comfortable, baffled, makes a great pillow, got me through unexpected rain and hail. I love this jacket.

My alpine jacket from campsaver came with a stuff sack as did my wife's direct from Montbell. Montbell has a sizing chart on their website that seems to be pretty accurate.

Cool, I'm between a small and medium with the down inners (I ended up keeping the med), so it sounds like a small might work for me with the alpine jacket. Thanks for the help!
