Does anyone have experience with the North Face Scorpio bag? At 22 oz and $140, the bag seems to be reasonable in terms of weight and price, for a summer bag, but I’m curious about quality.

No experience with the Scorpio, but I’ve used the Orion, the next step up in terms of warmth and weight in TNF’s new Primaloft Sport “Flight Series” bags. The Orion is a high quality synthetic bag. I like the use of Primaloft fill, the jacket-style hood, and the efficient cut (60″ shoulder) of the bag.
TNF claims a 40F rating for the Scoripo; independent tests conducted on copper manikins give it a 48F rating for the “standard man” (EN 13537 T limit rating).
