For the love of knots I thought this page deserved a re-emergence. Plenty of valid points showing there are several ways of hanging a food bag with equal aplomb.
But for my mind, the best comment above (which I’ve heard on Science Friday or some such show) states that a certain percentage of the population cannot tie knots, to which I would add cannot read maps, give/write directions to a location, or zip themselves out of a sleeping bag. Truly, how can you not feel anything but compassion for such people?
