I have read a lot about these two sleeping bags, especially their temperature rating (actual and stated). But I cannot find anywhere an indication of the weight of fill in each of these bags. Can anyone help me.
Thanks

Sleeping bags sold in Europe are put through independent tests for temperature rating using copper manikins in climate controlled chambers. According to Marmot’s European website the Pounder received a rating of 54F for the”standard man” and 60F for the “standard woman”. Weight of fill is 8.5oz. The Pounder Plus received a 36F/45F rating and contains 23 oz. of fill.
also, keep in mind that those fill weights aren’t for goose down. the marmot pounder series use primaloft.
from marmot: Primaloft Sport -High loft insulation from Primaloft, Sport is a blending micro and macro denier fibers to maximize softness, durability and compressibility. Superior water repellent finish for warmth when wet and fast drying.
Thanks Dondo and Jeremy, I could not find the fill weights on the Marmot De site, but did find the EN temp ratings
Roger, the fill weights for each bag are listed in the grey box under “Features”.
Jeremy, Primaloft Sport is actually pretty nice stuff. I have another Primaloft bag and find that it’s soft, drapes well, and compresses better than any other synthetic bag I’ve had.
