I tried to figure out what was meant also.

First off, understand that i have no idea what a Grand Teton base camp hut is like, and also, contrary to popular belief do not read minds, so i’m only guessing here as to the intended meaning.

Here’s what i think might be intended:

i think the poster may think that the base camp hut might be like some of the AT shelters with some, not all, individuals using them as a place to explore the effects of various chemical substances upon their physical and cognitive abilities.

A second thought i had was that the poster personally knows the Thread creator and was poking fun at him – maybe they both are chuckling together???

Anyways, i could be totally mistaken about the intended meaning.
