Get a new lighter headlamp( a petzl e+lite, or a fenix e01 flashlight that doubles as a tent lantern), a victorinox classic, merino underwear, a buff, the possibilities are endless

I'm in the same situation; I have a 20% off any one item until the 18th as well as a $78 dividend.

I was thinking of getting another sleeping bag or a PLB or a Spot II. I have 5 kids so the bag would come in handy and the PLB/Spot would give my wife some peace of mind.

Something I hadn't thought of before: REI told me the other day that I can get memberships for my kids and they would also get a 20% off coupon once a year. Hmmm….

If you don't have anything specific to buy, why not donate your card to your local scout troop? Bet they can put it to good use and make a kid or two very happy…

Michael, you can't use the 20% off coupon for electronics, so forget the PLB. I have often had to let the 20% coupons go unused because REI has so little that I want. This time, though, I needed a replacement cartridge for my water filter which I'll be picking up tomorrow.

As for the dividend, after July 1 you can get it back in cash.

I went this past Monday to use my dividend, 20% off and a gift card I had.

My REI is getting to the point that the backpacking area is getting smaller and smaller.
I wanted to look at some larger tents for when my gf goes with me. REI use to have 4-5 tents out for folks to look at. Now they have one!!! I finally decided on getting the Half Dome 2 plus because of the extra room. Of course it is on backorder

It finally dawned on me that there isn't a lot of items that REI carries that I need anymore.
