This was taken near the top of the South Kaibab Trail in Grand Canyon National Park. It is located east of the South Rim complex, about 1.5 miles east of the corner were Arizona 64 turns sharply from North/South to East/West.

Finally got the wife back in the woods after a 3 year break, in her defense she did grow and give birth to a human. But somebody besides me is really glad to have her back in nature ;0).

We joined friends for an overnight on Stephen’s Passage outside of Juneau. Just 5 miles from the end of the road, but a world away from the end of the legislative session….
