I've found the perfect pants.
Patagonia Borderless Zip Trek Pants.
These things are AWESOME! Nice, slim fit, stretchy in the thighs, and they dry really fast. Also, when you convert them to shorts, the shorts aren't ridiculously short! I'm 6'3", 215lbs with a 36" waist (wide hips) and 33" inseam and the XL's fit me perfectly.
