I know, you're thinking "Why is he talking about Coleman in a UL forum?"

Well, I saw this in Target the other day:

I picked it up and it was surprisingly light. It is kind of large (9 cups), but for the coffee fans, you can make some real coffee for a large group, or for the UL fans, it's pretty light if you pull out the coffee assembly and just use the pot and lid.

Overall, it's pretty big for solo or even duo backpacking, but maybe for someone who can't afford the 60 dollar Ti pot, this would be something to use for a little while.

My brother has one like that. Whenever he brings it, it always gets lots of use. It has many uses in a large group. He doesn't bring along the percolator parts. It just gets used as a large pot. It's amazing how much it gets used. And the best part is that I don't have to carry it!

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to pick one up and give it a proper weighing/test run, etc. for the good of the community.
