"This canyon also known at Picketwire Canyon is located south of La Junta Colorado. This beautiful unspoiled canyon is an excellent place to visit. Tucked into the cayon are ruins of old homesteads, an historic ranch, native rock art and the longest set of exposed dinosaur tracks in North America. The area is part of the Comanche National Grasslands so special conditions apply to your visit. Also, take plenty of water the temperatures in the summer can reach over 105 degrees.
