I've only seen the attraction issue with Sil.

I have never had, or heard of, this. Got any first hand experiences?
I have experienced it with the SUL silnylon used in a Terra Nova Photon tent. Exactly what you describe. However, I camped in that same spot a month ago with a Cuben DuoMid and had NO issues.
Apr 1, 2010 at 11:54 am #1593229It's the standard MLD cuben hex hammock tarp. Great tarp. I've used it quite a bit. I am having one custom made though. Hope to have it in a few weeks.

I thought I read somewhere about cuben fiber attracting dust but from what you folks say, it is a non-issue, which is great! I have not had the problem with spinnaker cloth with either my Squall Classic or Spinntwin.
