This saturday I'm headed out, solo, to ski from the Blackfoot TH to Holland Lake through the Bob Marshall. Three full days is the plan.
List is in ze profile.
The forecast is for warm weather. Very warm weather.
Edit: Just realized I forgot to include my 21 oz shovel. Drat.

How did you make it?
Mar 25, 2010 at 9:37 pm #1590967Mar 26, 2010 at 8:21 am #1591053I woke up (literally) at 330 last night with the thought "there isn't enough snow!" Sure enough, an early morning snotel perusal give me good reason to think that a good 40% of this route will be dry or nearly.
So sub T100s, gaiters, and Tubbs for skis and boots.
