anyone out there have experience with this tent in its current incarnation. wind stability, different staking out points, incorporated porch??? anyhelp appreciated
it’s a bit of a toss up between this and the squall2. it’s for use with my girlfriend mostly on the west coast of canada where it tends to be wet. condensation reduction and storm proof qualities are important otherwise i could get into some trouble. must avoid a wet and unimpressed girlfriend this summer!

I have the Europa – used it for the first time last weekend camping at Deception Pass in Washington State.

While it did rain Saturday night, it wasn’t what I would call a storm. There was no wind to speak of. The tent held up fine in these conditions.

I staked the sidewalls out away from the tent, but it still proved difficult to avoid touching the lower mesh panels while sharing the tent with my wife. But then, she does like her space…..

I was a little concerned at first about whether the floor would leak – I got the lightweight floor version. I used a tyvek footprint, and no water came up through the floor.

All in all, a pleasant weekend spent with my wife. I use a Mountain Laurel Design tarp when I camp by myself.
