I was interested in the Bay Area (CA) upcoming trips, and have to do alot of search to find the threads.

How about a new Forum Category for this?

Trailspace has one called "Trip Planning" along with "Trip Reports".

Since there is a BPL "Trip Reports", would be good for "Trip Planning" also.

Two Catagories down from Trip Reports is

"Hiking Partners / Trip Announcements | 644 threads, 5105 posts
