I know there are various versions of DWR-treatments you can apply yourself. From what I've been reading so far,Fluoropolymer-DWR-treatments are considered the best spray-on DWRs.

Is there a difference between industrial DWR (the DWR a fabric has, when i buy it) and the fluoropolymer-DWR I can apply to the fabric myself (like Atsko, Revivex, etc.)?

If this is a fabric-specific question, please concentrate on ripstop nylon.
    Regards
    David
