I'm hiking the CDT this year. I'm excited. Incredibly excited. And I don't have much else to say!

Awesome, best of luck. You doing any video diaries for your blog out of curiousity?

Likely I'll be blogging. Likely I'll be doing video updates. Likely I'll be getting paid by the mile. And it's somewhat likely that I'll be live-updating/twittering/facebook status updating live via satelite along the way!

    I'm EXCITED!

Thought you were just getting into bikepacking, or is that part of your CDT plan?

    I leave sometime mid June.

Yep, just getting in to bikepacking. I'll do a trip or two before my hike. The plan had been to ride down in Patagonia for a few months (I'd have been there now.) But I was offered some good work so chose that instead. The grand bike adventures are on hold right now, but shorter weekend and week long trips will happen when my setup is ready. I've got some hairbrained ideas, like it'd be cool to continue on dirt through Mexico on my bike (whileoutriding.wordpress.com has been doing a killer route). Patagonia has lost some of it's luster, but central asia has not (perhaps summer 2011?)
