Hi I'm in the Witchita falls area at Sheppard AFB. Are there any places to do like a weekend overnight around here? I looked online and Copper Breaks SP and Caprock Canyons SP look kinda cool. Im from north eastern ILL so im totally new to texas. Are there a lot of backpackers here?

Look at Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge near Lawton, OK.
