Heading into prime adventure season, I’m trying to nail down my 2-person cooking system. Typical trips will be 1 – 3 nights, with hot dinners and coffee/tea each night, and tea/coffee each morning with a cold breakfast.

I have a couple MSR ti pots, the .85L Titan Kettle and the 2L Titan pot, to select from. For stoves, I can choose from the Snow Peak Gigapower (stainless, manual), or a Supercat alcohol rig.

I’m looking for some recommendations for pot/stove combos that have worked for others with similar setups during 2 person weekend outings.

I’ve also been considering a Caldera Cone. If the MSR 2L pot were the better option for capacity reasons, would a Caldera Cone work effectively and efficiently with a pot that large?

Thanks in advance.

We use a 1.3L for "Just add hot water" cooking. Works great, with the extra volume eliminating any spillage.
