Could I use Hennessy Hammock Snakeskins for my MacCat Deluxe tarp? Or is there other things out there that would work similarly? I've read that folding your tarp is bad because eventually those fold-lines will become weak spots, and that's definitely something I want to avoid.

Snakeskins for a Tarp?

Snakeskins work great with tarps. For example, I set up the tarp in the snakeskin between two trees, and just leave it there hanging over my sleeping bag. if it starts to rain in the night, I just reach up and roll back the skins and the tarp falls over me. Under its cover, I reach out and put in the corner stakes and go back to sleep. If it doesn't rain, my tarp has never left the skin and its ready to pack.
I have made the skins out of silnylon custom fit to my tarp.
So the Hennessey skins won't work? I'm not much of a sewer.

yea the hennessey snake skins will work on an oes tarp but i prefer a black bishop bag to the snake skins
Yes, the Hennessy snake skins will work on a Maccat tarp. Which size depends on which tarp you buy.
The black bishop bag really only works with a hammock, right? It hangs there on the hammock ridgeline waiting to be deployed? Not sure how that would work for a tarp setup w/o a hammock.
