Trying to organize the trip. was going to take my time and do it in 4 days/three nights (will be driving in from ATL on thursday, driving back to ATL on sunday). Any tips, side trails i should know about? where should i camp/best campsites? Thanks in advance.
Mar 5, 2010 at 7:07 am #1582224I did it a few years ago. I know there are some cemeteries in that area off the trail, but I don't know where they are. Most of the campsites on the trail are small and see little use with the exception of #86, which is now a reserved site. I stayed at 76 and 86.
