I recently bought one, I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but it is nicely made for the price. The regular size is a bit small, if you’re over 5′-6″ 150# I would recommend the bigger one.

Where can I see this bivy in action(maybe even a review)? I searched it on Google and only saw one place that sells it.

I recently bought a regular size Titanium Goat Bivy. It arrived very quickly from them and they were very friendly when I spoke with them. As for the bivy, I think the bivy does run a little bit smaller than the heights in the description.

I have used it one night about 2 weeks ago. I was hiking on the PCT between Walker Pass and Kennedy Meadows. I used a 6 foot long silnylon tarp (I am 5’6″) and the bivy. It was crystal clear outside when I went to sleep so I pitched the tarp very high off of the ground. I woke up to snow…it was snowing into my tarp. The bivy did a great job protecting my bag and there was no condensation in the bivy itself. I didn’t zip the chest zip so vapor could escape better. It was also very, very cold when I was out…it actually warmed up significantly when it started snowing. I was very cold that night because I had a cruddy sleeping bag but the bivy kept me from feeling the wind on my bag. For $40 it’s totally worth it but getting used to not having a ground cloth was kind of weird. Hope that helps,
NITRO
