Being somewhat bored this past weekend I decided to dye my BPL Beartooth Hoody.

Now, please note, that I feel the standard green/grey is nice looking, but it is not BLACK!

A few BPL members that know me well, CG and JT, will not be the least bit shocked to read that I took a perfectly great looking item of UL clothing and modified it in an effort to have it in my preferred color – BLACK.

    Hoody - 1

    Hoody - 2

    Hoody - 3

I think the stitching staying the original green color looks cool but would much prefer the stitching to be grey. Maybe BPL can make this change on the next run.

A fun project that did not require much more then imagination. Did I say I like BLACK.

I really need to go hike.

    That green stitching looks sweet!

+1 for black hiking clothes too. Though I've got about equal amounts of black and light gray. And one orange Smartwool shirt that was too cheap to pass up :P.

    Looks good.

Yeah, I like black gear also, but I sometimes find I have too much of it.

Wearing all black in the woods makes you look like a lost retarded ninja.

P.S. dyeing clothes is so much easier than most people think, it's amazing people don't realize they have the option.
