Sigma is having another go at getting the DP1 right, announcing the third edition of this groundbreaking little camera.

Since the "s" version evidently did little to correct the many shortcomings of the original, it's good to see Sigma follow up this quickly with the "x." Backpackers seeking a big-chip camera that's about half a pound don't have anywhere else to go (closest rival is the two-grand red-dot option at eleven ounces compared to the Sigma's nine).
