BPL Gear Closet (Used)

Simpler the better in my view if it is going to get done and work in the longterm. There has been examples of this in the recent past…thinking of the lightweight case for glasses as a perfect example…nothing fancy but the right thought behind it….and it worked.

What I pictured was something like:
1)Click on Community.
2)Listed on the drop down would be BPL Community Gear Closet.
3)Rules of the Closet would be stated (BPL members only…).
4)When opened there would be a spread sheet where used gear could be posted, reviewed and tracked. The spread sheet would be set up similar to a gear list and split into gear sections.
5)PM Contact information would be included for use in arranging shipping.

My original intention is to create a simple and useful tool which would allow BPL members to help others and give back in return when able. Maybe there is no simple way to achieve this.

Thom – I like your idea, maybe BPL could weigh in at this point on their willingness to host this?
It sounds more organized then a thread and I like the idea, however if BPL is unwilling to host it, then a thread might be the best option.

I would suggest that any changes to the spreadsheet be moderated(veted) once they are made and before they apear on the sheet.
