hello friends. Im looking for lightweight spleeping bags that can be used as one bag or combined to become a couples bag. I was hoping for some brands or even styles if possible. I have asked local shops and that was no help. thanks

Both Feathered Friends and Western Mountaineering make couplers that zip into their sleeping bags and hold two pads in place beneath you. Is that the kind of product you’re looking for? Or are you trying to find two single person sleeping bags that can be zipped together?

I was looking for two single sleeping bags that zip together. I thought it would be nice for times she wouldn't be with me.

What temperatures are you expecting? A WM MityLite os good done to 40* and can be purchased with a coupler. My coupler and bag weigh 35 oz together and the bag alone weighs 26 oz. Fairly light combination for 2 people

Most orders from Feathered Friends are "custom", meaning that you order a specific model of bag and then select length, fabric type and fabric color and the side you prefer the zipper to be on. Bags with zippers on opposite sides are mateable.

They also make semi-rectangular bags that, when unzipped, act as a quilt/comforter and zip onto a bottom/ground sheet. There are even hood options for both persons.

Thanks for helping me. I will look into that more. I was thinking about a bag that would be for around or a little over freezing.
