Hi Andy,

A great deal. Will the left and right zips actually zip together. Also what are the measurements (head, shoulder, hip, foot, loft) of the bags (400)? All the Rab site mentions is a trim fit and length.

Thanks.

The Rab site says the bags are 210 x 75cm wide, which translate into 84″ by 29.5″ Most bags list their width, I believe,(but can’t guarantee I’m right) by the total width of the bag unzipped and laid out, so you’d double that 29.5″ to ‘standardize’ it. 29.5 x 2=59″ A Western Mountaineering Summerlite or Ultralite is 59″, and those are pretty narrow bags. I had a Summerlite. I’m 5’10”, 175lbs, and I fit in a summer lite, and I could have also worn my MB Alpint light jacket in it, but I toss and turn a bit to much to be confined to such a narrow bag. 62″ is more comfortable for me.

Their site does not have the specs and neither does their catalog and
we don't have any bags in stock but expect them on Wednesday. It looks like one customer did find shoulder girth at about 59".

I am only 5'8" and I hopped in one of these bags and was surprised to find that it was not overly long. I could use one without thinking twice about it. The bags are very well made and on par with an 850+ marmot sleeping bag. The inner nylon has a great hand to it and the waterproof Endurance fabric on a couple of the models is a great value considering the cost of Marmot EQ bags which raises the price considerably.

Bottom line. These are well made bags on par with the best in the industry.

Andy, do these bags have collars, with a cord for the collar and a cord for the opening?

sorry about the late reply.

the 250 does not have a neck collar, but the hood does have a draw string

the 400 and 600 do have neck collars with draw strings as well as draw strings on the hood.

Pulled the trigger on the 25 degree bag for my son. Very nice bag. It is too snug in the shoulders for me, but fine for someone thinner than me (6-3" 210+)!
