I am looking for a path That bypasses the Tiltill Valley to lake Vernon from Rancheria Falls that is no more then a scramble. I was thinking of going first up the incline NW of Rancheria Falls towards Hetch Hetchy Dome. Then head NE to connect to the trail between Tiltill valley and lake Vernon. I was wondering if anyone has a first hand account of whether it is passable. I am looking for this bypass for the early season when the Tiltill valley is flooded. I never been to the Rancheria Falls area so I was looking for some first hand info on if at least the way up to Hetch Hetchy Dome.
