I'm looking for some lightweight silnylon dry sacks for my first aid kit and to put cameras/lenses in inside my chest pouch (in case I take an unexpected dip in a river).

So far, the best I've found are the Sea to Summit Ultra-Sil Dry Sacks, at 2 liters, for the first aid kit, and the slightly larger ones for my longer lenses.

Any others I should know about before I pull the trigger?

P.S. – I don't want to put them in Aloksaks or ziplocs or the like … tired of tearing the seams near the zipper when out and about.

A couple of plastic bags from the fruit department with an elastic band around the top, inside a silnylon bag. Lighter.

Cheers

Thanks for stopping in Aaron, however, as was mentioned below I'm looking for dry sacks instead.

I do have some cuben stuff sacks for other items on order through zpacks :)

@Roger
: I like the idea, but am trying to stay away from plastic. Thanks though!

Granite Gear
Uberlight CTF3 DrySack

Weights:
XXS: 7L: 15 grams
XS: 10L: 17 grams
S: 13L: 19 grams
M: 18L: 21 grams

Made of Cuben Tech Fiber

An interesting point. If one takes any dry sack, turn it inside out, and fill it up with water. Let it sit over time in a dry bucket. What are BPL scientific expectations of what happens? Zero condensation of water? This test will show that not all dry sacks behave the same.
