My son and I are planning on snowshoeing out of Meiss Meadow Sno- Park next weekend, going up on Friday comming home on Sunday. After building snow shelters on Friday, we're cross country skiing on Sat. Kirkwood Ski Resort say's they have base of 50 to 60in. mid mountain. I would like to know if anyone up in the Tahoe-Carson Pass area can give me a good snow report?

Carson Pass shows 9.2 inches of water, but that doesn't tell us how deep the snow actually is. Since it's been quite cold I'll venture to guess it's several feet at least.

Have a great trip!
