Do folks have any opinions, scientific or otherwise, on the performance differences between quantum and regular DWR 1.1 ripstop as a shell for sleeping bags or insulated jackets, or as windshirt material?
Mar 31, 2006 at 3:07 pm #1353918check out the fabric descriptions over at nunatak. basically the Quantum is lighter .9 vs 1.1 oz/sq. yd. and is more breathable. the 1.1 ripstop is a little more durable.
