Does anyone have any information, or experiences, on the quality of EMS (Eastern Mountain Sports) sleeping bags?
Particularly the bag I'm looking at is the Mountain Light Series. They seem to have a decent amount of down for the temp rating (but I suppose it's the quality of the down that really counts) They are not too heavy and nicely priced.

thanks

Don't know about their bags but my wife and I have ecxellent EMS GTX parkas. Mine has seen 12 years of hard use and still works and looks great.

Also my EMS 300 weight Polartec pile jacket W/ nylon reinforced shoulders and lower arms is still going strong and looking as good as any TNF pile jacket.

Their stuff is high quality and well designed.

Thanks Eric

That's good to know – makes it a bit easier to buy an unknown product.

I use the EMS Mtn light +20 "down" and have been very pleased with performance and durability.
Pertex outer shell is seen in much more expensive bags.

Yes…i was certainly price driven.
