I need help sizing the MB Thermawrap vest. I have a 40 chest and a 32 waist. I intend to layer the vest over a Chinook windshirt with a Smartwool microweight crew next to the skin. The MB large, chest 41-43 and waist 34-36, seems a bit big. Any help is appreciated.

Actually, I have the same chest and waist size (i.e. 40 & 32). The MB UL Thermawrap Inner vest in medium fits me fine – a bit on the snug side, but I don’t wear it over anything heavy just over one or two lighter layers, so no problem.
Hi PJ, Thanks for your reply. I feel the medium would be the right choice too. The website modernmountainman.com has the Thermawrap inner vest “on sale” at $69.00. Thanks again.

I went to ModernMountainMan a few days ago to buy the same thing. Unfortunately, it looks as though they have all sizes and color in stock, but not until I ordered my size did the website inform me they were out of stock…ugh! I sent an email to them inquiring about this but have not heard back.
