Trying to setup a sewing machine. Long time ago I bought a very large spool of high quality thread from Ray Jardine. It's a large spool that is meant to be stood up next to the sewing machine I think. Anyways, I can't find the instructions that came with the spool but I remember there was some way of getting the thread to feed correctly by setting it upright next to the machine and guiding the thread through a straw section taped to the machine or something simple like that.
Any tips would be appreciated.
