An alternative bivy bag?

I'm not sure if I should have posted this in this thread, or in the "gear for multiple uses" thread (read on, you'll see why), or just in a new thread for "stupid ideas".

I chased down a reference to check out medical overbooties from a post by Wil to Rocky goretex booty alternative (see that thread). I found a local company which sells them, and sure 'nuff, they'll do nicely for 'round the camp.

But I noticed this on sale, and hey, has anyone thought of this yet? :)

It's a cheap alternative bivy bag, has to be strong, and surely waterproof.

Who's game to sleep on the trail in a body bag? I'm always told I look like death warmed up when I first get up in the morning, well….and boy, imagine if you came across someone in the camp sleeping in, and then they sat up. hee, hee, hee.
