Is anyone interested in joining me for a last munite section hike in on the AT from Bland, VA to Pearisburg, VA? I am taking it a bit easy this trip since my Doctor just released me to hike this Thursday (stress fracture) and I am not sure how well I will do. Here is the trip plan:
Bland Virginia to Pearisburg Virginia
VA52 to State Route 634
Friday
Shuttle from Pearisburg, VA to VA52
Hike from VA52 to Jenny Knob Shelter (12.1 miles)
Saturday
Hike from Jenny Knob Shelter and camp near the northern intersection with the Ribble Trail (18.7 miles)
Sunday
Hike from Ribble Trail Campsite to State Route 634 (12.6 miles)
