I missed out on the earlier Western Mountaineering (WM) Summerlite sale that was posted here. Ever since, I have been searching with Google.com Shopping and Bling.com Shopping for such WM sales and came up empty.
Then Sunday, I went to my local outfitter, Active Endeavors (www.qcactive.com) in Davenport Iowa and found 5 different WM bags on sale.
I bought the Badger MF model (15 degrees, regular size), list $445, for under $300. They have been on clearance for maybe a month, and perhaps they are not the right bags for backpacking the corn fields of Iowa. Times are still difficult here.
I asked the owner if I could list these 4 remaining bags on BackpackingLight, and he agreed. The bags are not sold from the Active Endeavors website.
