Alastair,
Thank you for the link to your superb video.
Have you considered the Torngat Mountains in Northern Labrador/Quebec. Very scenic, and just as open and windy a challenge to tents. Probably no hot springs, though, and there might be an occasional very unfriendly polar bear to deal with.
