Anybody here use any of the available brand dog-backpacks? Specifically for large-breed dogs?
Any recommendations on quality/utility of any of these?
We have a great dane puppy we've been breaking into the trails this season, and are interested in pack training him, but have never used any of these things.. My main concern is finding one that will be big enough for him once he's full grown, although I understand we'll have to start training him with a smaller one.
He's only 5mo old, and his food for just a weekender is already weighing as much as the food we take for 2 people.. 6 cups of kibble per day, and growing, he's going to have to start carrying his own..
Any suggestions? What about dog-shoes?
