Last night the wee little one brought me a origami cup and bowl she made.
I can see sitting on a windswept ridge trying to fold a cup to drink my tea.
These things are so light they didn't blip my scale. I've used the cup 3 times so far.Sep 29, 2009 at 8:41 pm #1531630Larry, more info please. Is that paper?
Sep 29, 2009 at 11:15 pm #1531658Once you have a pattern, you could try one out of some thin closed-cell foam for hot drinks. . .
Okay, I need my meds.
Sep 30, 2009 at 7:22 am #1531718This is made out of origami paper sold in art warehouses. here's a bowl she mage out of Netflix envelopes.
The cup is about the size of a dixie cup because that is what size paper she had.
I'm going to swing by and get some bigger stuff and I'll post the photos.Sep 30, 2009 at 11:16 am #1531793That's pretty cool.
I use my daughter's old juice bags (Capri Sun or whatever). I cut the top off just under the straw hole. They fold flat but when you want you can "pop" them out and they will stand up (like the old expandable bottom Platapus bags).
Waterproof, cheap, and I've got a ton of them.

Oct 7, 2009 at 12:11 pm #1533915I made a light alcohol stove and light a gas stove. Use a common stand. Only wire staples.
