    Hi gang,
Just came back from my Catalina Island Expedition.
Did some hiking, including the Trans Catalina Trail.
It's not the JMT of the Sierra….the highest peak is around 2,000ft….but
that is from sea level and the view from the ridge is…"OCEAN"…in all directions.
    Slurping "Margaritas" and watching
bikini clad "Surfer Girls" was by far the most challenging and stressful on this expedition.
However, "Margaritas & bikini clad Surfer Girls" go a long way to make up for the lack of Granite Moutain Peacks.

How were the goats and buffalo? :-)

Catalina is a neat place, sounds like a wonderful trip.

    Cheers,

    Rick

    Rick,
I did not see any goats or buffalo….I did see plenty deer, however.
To tell you the truth, my attention and eyes were more focust on the mavelous bikini clad speciments that roam the island abundandly.
At my age (three weeks shy of 69) you need to focus on those things while you still have the ability to focus on those things.
