I am in the market for a new flashlight/headlamp and was wondering what everyone was using that worked well for them or that is new to the market. My last headlamp was a petzl zipka, which i didn't mind, although it was heavier and cast less light than i would prefer. It lasted me several years though of good use and I enjoyed it.

But now it's time to upgrade.

Criteria-
-Lightweight (<2 ounces preferably)
-Various settings including a bright, high output capable of providing enough light for night hiking if need be and a low setting that will last a long time while i read or fiddle around in camp
-Able to be used without hands, ie headlamp, clip, or with a lanyard or some kind

I know zebra lights makes some good ones as well as fenix, and im sure there are other brands in the mix such as petzl, princeton tech, and black diamond. I want a good combination of battery life and brightness. I know about the e+lite and am considering it, although I am hoping for something with a little more power.

So what do you all use and what would you recommend?
