Does anyone know of any inflable mattresses on the market that are made for shorter people but whom still want a wider pad to be able to roll around on? Right now I am about to settle for a Big Agnes Petite Diverison Recycled Air Core which is 66inchs long, 20 inches wide, and 2.5 icnhes thick. I really wish it was 25 inches wide, because I tend to roll around a lot at night. I have a feeling that nothing of the sort exists. Am I correct? Ive look everywhere. Whenever I find one that is 25 inches wide, it is always 76-78 inches long. God knows I dont need something that long. If anyone could chime in Id appreciate it. Thanks!

hey, will a 22″ wide pad work for you? If you can wait 8-12weeks, I can make you a custom pad to your length with 2.5″ or 3.5″ thickness.

See this thread for more info.

Five Things Though:

-Is there any possible way you could make it 25 inches, I dont even care if it had to be a little wider 27 inches if your designs dont allow you to make such a size.

-Im allergic to down, so it would have to have a synthetic insulation of some sorts that could handle 20F weather while on the ground. In other words a 4 value or higher.

-3.5 inches would be awesome, but I need to know the weight difference it would cost me over the 2.5 inch one.

-I dont want it to weigh more than 24ozs.

-Finally, time for the age old question, how much would it cost me? I would need two of them.

Thanks.

-I can make a 25" wide pad. But there will be wastage and extra work for a 66" length. I can make you 45" long pad easily though.
Edit: since you want two, I can make longer pads for you without too much wastage.

-I dont know much about down allergy so I am not sure allergy is problem with down sleeping pad. Down is completely encased in cuben. There may be some leakage at the valve while deflation but I can cover it with noseeum inside to prevent that.

Is allergy a problem if you are not in direct contact with down?

-There wont be a significant weight difference. Around 1.5oz for 45" pad. But it will be much more compact.

-TWO 45" X 25" X 3.5" pads should be well under 24oz.

-Cant give you an exact price. I am testing several adhesives which cost upto 3times then that used in the original prototype. If I get enough preorders, I can buy material in bulk. Expect a 45" X 25" X 3.5" to cost between $150 to $200. There will be a special price for the first batch though.

Have you checked out Stephenson's DAMs? Custom length and tapered coffin shape might just work.
