Does anyone have any percentage off backcountry codes. I need to buy something. Also, for future reference, do their coupon codes work on sale items as well. Thanks.

3C3-1-GR4R5 should get you 10% off. I think that was the one I used recently but can't be sure… you'll need to check. With coupons I think you get whichever the best deal is… either the coupon discount (off original price) or the sale price.
The code states that it is only for "Perk Spot Members", what does that mean?
It means that someone has uploaded their company discount onto the web for all and sundry to use. But it seems backcountry doesn't mind, this and many other codes have been floating around for ages. They would cancel it if they thought it a big deal. They don't ask for your "Perk Spot" membership number or anything =-)
The only time I've seen backcountry crack down on one of their coupon codes was when they accidentally (I think) screwed up and made their 40% off outlet code available for the whole site. They also cancelled (actually, reissued privately) a coupon code for 40% off last year which they weren't too keen on the general public using.
Other than that, it seems that if you can find a coupon code you are free to go ahead and use it. Some people of strong moral standing may not wish to use the coupon however, as strictly it is not intended for their use. The rest of us will happily take the 10% off.
Get additional discount on top of your order if you go through bing.com first. You can read previous posts on that. Good luck.
I know I will never find a 40% off code that is active for their regular priced site, because this incident happened back in March. Trust me though, if I found one, I would not let the guilty or immoral feelings hold me back >:o)
Now about this Bing idea, Ill keeping looking around the forum to see how i get it to work, but in the meantime if anyone knows how to activate this can you tell me how. Can I save an additional amount on something that is already marketed down? Thanks.
