We’re taking our two youngest grandchildren backpacking this week at Pt. Reyes, an annual trip for the solstice. Feel fortunate they enjoy it so much.

Thanks, Doug. Short but sweet. I plan on taking him on a 4 day/3 night trip at the end of summer, which will be his longest yet. I can’t wait.

I failed to do that with my daughter…she has no interest in sleeping in the dirt with the bugs. :(
