Joy, pure joy, to have a weekend like that one! Hope you two have many more to come.

We’re taking our two youngest grandchildren backpacking this week at Pt. Reyes, an annual trip for the solstice. Feel fortunate they enjoy it so much.

Thanks, Doug. Short but sweet. I plan on taking him on a 4 day/3 night trip at the end of summer, which will be his longest yet. I can’t wait.

Looks amazing and all the better as you are getting your son exposed to the outdoors.

I failed to do that with my daughter…she has no interest in sleeping in the dirt with the bugs. :(
