Thanks!

I just picked one up.

I've heard mixed reviews about quilts in the Sierra, but I can't resist giving it a shot. I like the idea of the freedom to move around.

Just was getting on here to post this deal. Picked one up a few hours ago. Been looking for one cheap for a while and finally pulled the trigger.

I'll be using it in the sierras too. Just moved up north from central so I have a brand new set of mountains to check out.
I don't anticipate too many problems being that I'm a fairly warm sleeper

doh! there out of longs.

I was just looking on the backcountry.com website and the little "do you need help?" chat box popped up. So I Asked if they could match the price. They did.

So If you need a long go there and just ask thru there.

If that other site runs out of them, this one is selling them for $169.99! It's $2 more but nevertheless a great deal just the same.

Hey wait a cotton picking minute, are these sleeping bags or quilts? It looks like a quilt to me. If its a quilt, what size pads can it serve? Either way Im not for certain if I want a quilt :(

quilt, but its a good excuse to get a pair of silk pajamas/baselayer

Would this quilt accommodate a Big Agnes Recycled Diversion Mattress. It is 20 inchs wide. 72 inches long. 2.5 inches thick. Thanks!

I use mine with a NeoAir that is also 20 x 72 x 2.5. It works well. Generally I just have the whole quilt tucked in around me, and not around the quilt. In colder weather you might want to tuck it around the pad but this still would work okay.

I've used the golite ultra 20, JRB stealth, and Nunatak Ghost. I always place my pad under the quilt, not inside the quilt with great luck. The sides of the quilt come under me. If done this way the size of the pad should not matter.

They cancelled my order so I went straight to backcountry.com and scooped one up before they took it down on adventureshed. Thanks for the tip!
