I've really taken to hiking in moccasin/barefoot style shoes, and I'm
interested in making some myself.

I need advice on what kind of fabric to use for the soles of the
shoes. I need something that is _very_ abrasion resistant. Any
thoughts? How about Kevlar? What about Dyneema? Leather?

I'm planning on modeling the shoes off of Feelmax Panka
shoes(http://www.extremeoutfitters.us/feelmaxpankamensblacksilver.aspx).
The Feelmax shoes have fabric sole that is made of a special Kevlar
impregnated with something.

Thanks!

Greg R.
