BackcountryGear.com is a reputable firm, located in Eugene, OR. I've bought a lot of stuff from them–they carry a lot more lightweight gear than does REI. They ship very promptly. Almost always when I order something, "Brown" leaves it on my doorstep 24 hours later. Of course I'm only about 1 1/2 hours' drive from Eugene! While they do have a return policy that items returned must be within 1 month of purchase and be in new condition, I've never had any problems with returns. Customer service has been excellent; they even had an employee of my approximate dimensions crawl into a WM Ultralight Super sleeping bag to see if it would work for me! Sometime I'm going to stop at their place; they have a showroom at their facility.

Yeah, I like them, it sometimes takes a while to get the stuff shipped here to the midwest, but they are a good retailer. They never seem to have big discounts on clothing though.

If you check the Reader Reviews, you will notice that their biggest issue is that they will indicate something is in stock, when in fact it isn't. This has happened to me several times so I put them outside of my top 5 retailers – behind Prolite Gear, BaseGear, Moontrail, CampSaver, and Moosejaw.

Thanks for the heads up, Douglas. I ordered a NeoAir small on 8/27. Backcountry Gear shipped the same day. It arrived on my porch today. Shipping was free. The weight is 8.7 oz.
